We all love our Sat Nav. Just type in where we want to go, relax and the lovely lady tells us exactly how to get to where we wish to go.
We can just enjoy the journey without having to worry about the directions or getting lost. What could be better? And if we make a mistake and take a wrong turn, rather than getting cross or agitated she calmly carries on giving us directions to where we want to be.
How amazing Sat Nav is!
Well how would it be if the same lovely lady was there for us all the time? Not just in the car, but always there to guide us through life.
That would be even more amazing!
So that whenever we weren't quite sure about which direction to take in life, she would guide us.
With any important decision that needed to be made, she would be there for us.
Our very own personal 24/7 Sat Nav for life.
Wouldn't that be lovely?
So is this possible?
I believe we all have our own built in Sat Nav but we don't listen, or we are not receptive to the inner voice.
If we think about it there are many times when we may say to ourselves, if only I had listened to my gut feeling.
How many times have you done something which you have regretted and thought to yourself, I knew not to do that and yet I carried on regardless.
It is purely because we didn't listen to our inner voice. Or we may have heard, but chose to ignore it.
We all have our own Sat Nav and we just need to be aware of it and learn to listen more. Perhaps, we take the advice or we don't. But what is important is awareness. The more aware we are of our inner voice or instinct or gut feeling, then the more able we are to make decisions as we go through life.
I believe that the best lesson we can all learn is that if our own built in Sat Nav is trying to tell us something over and over again, then we should take notice and listen. Because it is doing everything it can to guide us down the right path. And if we continually ignore it, we may well end up at a cul de sac.
So turn up the volume just a little bit more on your Sat Nav and truly listen.
