When we arrive at the bottom of a ladder,
we have the opportunity to get ahead, to climb the ladder of success.
And then we arrive at a snake or a serpent,
and we slide back down again.
Life is like a game of snakes and ladders.
We can race ahead or slip back.
But actually what would be best, is every now and then just to stop.
To stop and go nowhere. To stay where you are and reflect upon your life.
To go deep inside yourself.
Are you being true to yourself?
Are you really following your dream?
Do you even have dreams anymore?
Do you feel that something is missing in your life?
We all need from time to time to stop and allow ourselves an opportunity to examine our life and all that we are doing.
Not just a full stop, or the end of a paragraph or a chapter.
Rather think of it as finishing a book and putting it down and then having some time before thinking about what the next book might be.
Quite often we hear of stories where a person has had a crisis of some sort and that they have come through the crisis and it has ended up being the best thing that ever happened to them.
It has been a positive life changing experience for them. And they have gone on to do something quite remarkable.
But why should we wait for fate to step in?
Why not create our own space for change.
Make a decision in the same way as you might book a holiday.
Book yourself some time out to truly reflect upon your life. To find what has been missing all this time. It will be the most important decision you have ever made.
Respect yourself and give yourself an amazing opportunity.
It will not only benefit you, but your family and friends too.
Stop playing "Snakes and Ladders", and play the "Stop" game instead.
It might possibly be the best game you have ever played.
And if you win, you get the best prize of all.
Play the "Stop" game.
There are no losers,
